Maybe he rolled his fenders, stuffed 22" rims on his car, rags the crap out of it with oil that never got changed since he got it... Nah brah, i jus playn. Seriously, i think something might be wrong with your car and or your gauges. Should go get it checked out for your Z sake.

If you reset the guage and floor it, you get stupid low numbers. Opposite if you reset and drive easy or set cruise control...

or if you reset it, idle at a stop light, then drive to the drive thru at Zaxbys, and then park in the parking lot to eat...well you get the point, alot of time, not much movement

"A lot of time" isn't a factor in calculating mpg.

orly?

let me define mpg for ya: measurement of how much gas is used to go a distance: in this case miles per gallon.

im saying your car will idle(at the traffic light, at the drive thru and in the parking lot while you eat) for a while, and you only drive maybe a half mile.

let the car sit and idle for ALOT OF TIME and your MPG will drop.

Just reset the guage.

Mine once read 99.9 MPG for like 1 minute.

Revving and idling in the garage yields results above.
