Default Moving to Columbus, Georgia

so the wife got a new position with her company and we are packing up and moving to Columbus, Georgia. she will be there in 2 weeks and i will be up as soon as our house sells and/or i transfer within my company.

anyhoo, anyone here from Columbus? aside from trying to find a tri/running club, i will be looking for fellow Z owners to get up with

i actually dont see that as a problem! i prefer to be one of a few with the Z, rather than seeing every other car being a Z!

Columbus is not boring of course we don't have the entertainment Atlanta does and that's fine with me because it gives me the opportunity to really drive the Z. Here in columbus the cost of living is quite a bit cheaper than ATL and the slower pace is great for local semi pro sports, concerts, daily traffic (less accidents) we have a variety of diiferent sports clubs I am not sure about running, but I believe so. We also have the Infantry training Center here at Ft. Benning, Strip Clubs, bars, most major restraurants, and for the wife shopping malls. Some rednecks yeah and probably about 20 to 30 Z's. So come on to Georgia we got a lot of great cities and things to offer.

"Welcome to Ft. Benning...Home of the Infantry...FOLLOW ME!"
Had to go there for some training. I had a pretty good time for the 2 weeks I was there. Good Luck.

Columbus, GA is DUB CITY!!!

I lived in L.A. for awhile, and I didn't see even 1/4 as many hilarious Chevy Caprice's, etc. with 20" rims.

Plus, you can go for a Saturday country roads drive all day long and typically never get stuck behind another car. Very much uncrowded.

Some nice lux suburbs and the usual shopping malls, etc. Just no beaches. 7 hours landlocked is the main con.

Rich

Picking up my Z tomorrow (in sales tax-free Alabama)
