Default Rear Tire Problem

I have 7,000 miles on these (rear) michelin pilot sports. I've noticed a rythmic rotational tire sound comming from the rear. Can anyone tell me whats going on here? Notice how the middle tread block is 1/8" lower than the tread left and right of it? the fronts (pilot sports also) have no strange wear.
When nissan replaced them for me and i checked the pressure the next day they had 45lbs in them. I figured the idiots at the dealership just didn't care and brought the pressures down to 35 psi. Could these tires need 45psi to sit right on this car? thanks

I could be completly wrong but won't over inflated tires cause premature wear in the center of the tire?

You're right to bring them down to 35. The dealer didn't care. It looks like to much air pressure still with that wear though. Are you doing many burn outs?

thanks for the look.
remember i only drove the car 10 miles with 45 lbs in them.
I have had 35 psi in them for 7,000 miles. So i wonder if this is an underinflation problem?

Found this on the web, hope it helps
At each tire, take a coin and insert it in the tread at the inside, center and outside.

If the tread is deeper on the edges than in the center, the tire is over inflated.

If the tread is deeper in the center than the edges, the tire is under inflated.

If the tread is deeper on one side than the other, have your wheel alignment checked soon.

Run your hand back and forth across the tread, being careful not to cut yourself on any debris or exposed steel belt wire. If the tread is smooth in one direction, but jagged in the other you have what is called a "saw-tooth" wear pattern which is caused by a toe-in problem. Have the alignment checked as soon as possible as this condition causes rapid tire wear.

The first two conditions do not call for a wheel alignment but the second two do. If these wear patterns are pronounced, you should replace the tires or move them to the rear before aligning the car. Ask your alignment specialist to be sure.

anybody out there have 7000 miles or so on there pilot sports? can you tell me what pressure you run? does anyone think this could be the source of the rythmic sound? i'm positive it's not a feathering sound almost a subtle out of round sound..
