Question wider wheels on track? les schwab or dealership?

I have a set of nismo wheels (18s) and toyo 245 front/275 rear tires waiting to be mounted on the car (currently car is on stock potenza/wheels 225 front/245 rear).

I would appreciate any advice on:
1.) planning to go first time to the track for an HPDE class in summer. Mount the new tires and wheels before that or after? What is more fun on the track? Maybe should save the nismo's in case I mess up on the track, on the other hand why do I have them, if not for using on the track..

2.) go to something like les schwab to swap the TPMS from the stock wheels/tires over and mount the new wheels and tires (but that's kind of tricky to not mix up TPMS sensors to avoid need for reprogramming, and not mix up slightly wider rear wheels with front.... and directional tires..) OR go to the nissan dealer for that? The dealer should still do it for free as I got the wheels from them as part of the car purchase. I am thinking if the dealer messes anything up, it should be covered under warranty, if les schwab messes anything up I may have troubles. Then again, it seems for les schwab it's a routine job and they seem to be more customer friendly and I would not have to deal with the dealership...

So I am undecided and looking for your opinions,
Thanks!

If it were me, I'd use the old set-up for the HP driving course. You'll learn just as much about driving, and save the wear and tear on the new rubber.

Not a fan of dealers generally, but since they'd do it for free, and should be familiar with TPS, that sounds like the best option.

ah great, thanks for all the infos!

Didn't know about this "satan" reputation of les schwab. I thought they did a good job and treat customers well here in the portland suburbs area. But I only got tires patched up so far. Maybe it depends on region.

If it was mine I would ONLY have the dealer do it...even would pay a little extra for the dealer. And be sure you get an alignment when the new shoes are put on.

Hmm I was hoping to avoid the alignment, as I currently don't think I have the feathering issue. And I would hate some sloppy mechanic to touch the settings and pull out some old specs and mess it up.
Since I am not changing wheel diameter (18) only getting wider wheels (nismo compared to stock) and am using the recommended tires sizes so to not set off the VDC, I was thinking that alignment isn't needed?

Isn't that only needed when you change suspension parts or lower the car or change outer diameter (either tire height or wheel diameter)?
