On that subject, check out this comment from a "reviewer" of the 350Z...

(this is from carpoint.msn.com)

"This is the best car I have ever driven. At Michigan International Speedway I took this thing up to a 7500 R.P.M redline and a top of 150 MPH" The title was "Best Nissan Ever"

Is this a riot, or what? The problem is, everyone wants their 15-minutes of fame. This persons "fame" is actually "shame."

I resent the implication that everyone who says they already have their Z is a liar. I got mine just the other day, took it out to Summit Point and hit 153 on the straigt-away. But the next thing you know...some fricken UFO shows up and beems me AND the Z aboard (I hate when that happens). They started to probe me...but then I said WAIT...if you leave me alone..you can have the Z... their green snouts broke into a big smile -- at least I think it was a smile, and they beemed back to the track. They kept the Z...but the next thing I knew..they beamed the CD rom and the pictures down. I thought that was nice of them. So my question is: Do you think my insurance will cover this???

If Geiko can get a lizard to talk, they can insure you.

its up to you if you want to believe me or not....

oh by the way i had z32 calipers on my 240 and they made the new 350 calipers look cheaper than the z32 calipers. 4 piston vs what looks like single floating piston

plus just because i didn't drive the car doesn't mean i didn't get to sit in the drivers seat to see the blind spots

oh by the way look have a look july 3rd Highway One section of the LaTimes if you have a chance

Default Speaking of insurance

I got a quote from geico to change from my 2001 pathfinder to a 2003 Z, only a difference of $48 for 6 months. Not too bad at all, I was very happy with that. Hopefully it'll hold up once everything becomes official.

Default did anyone mention anything about built in rev light

I had a chance to sit in the new Z the other day ( although for some reason other people on this forum think I like to make things up) and was shown one of the features on the 3 guages in the center. The far left guage also has a feature of a rev light or alarm that you can set at desired rpm. I wonder what other undocumented features the Z will have.

ok i meant to post this to the general area not onto this post, but i will just leave it here. It's funny how my simple intention of giving some info that you guys may find interesting has turned into something else. I don't know about you guys but i don't go around in my spare time making stuff up. It's up to you if you want to believe me or not.
