My delership told me that my clicking clutch is caused by the cruise control.. and everything is normal.

Hey what's up fellow IL Z driver... What dealership are you going to... So far I've been to 3... the one that got stuff done is St. Charles Nissan... it took forever but it got stuff done. They have a mechanic there that actually works on alot of Z, I would recommend them, I am starting to think NISSAN jp, hates IL I think we get the most Dealer QUeens out of all of them... here is my history: 2004 350z
so far 2 clutches
1 Flywheel
1 transmission
AND THE rear pinging noise everyone had..
this was all under 13k miles, I am at 14k... and I drive very very nervously now...

 

I was like 10-15 times at continental nissan. and trust me it took me a while before they did sth - most of the time tech was not able to duplicate the noise! so far:
- new clutch pedal assembly
- new clutch
- new pressure plate
- new throw out bearing

And they still messed up sth- cause my car developed a new sounds. Now the whole process starts all over...

I guess I will try kelly nissan tomorrow.

 

go down there and say you need something out of your car! what, are they going to tell you no??

Ok today is sunday so im going tomm to ask to get somthing out my car cause i actually do, I left 2 pc games that i want to play so there i'll be lighting some people on fire tommorrow.lolol

update please...

 

Ok i went in just now and i saw the car it had the hood pooped open with parts laid out, saw some new parts too soo everything looked ok.

I asked to get somthing from my car and they couldnt find the key at first but we found it in the service folders . Scared me alittle bit though.

Sunday night i went to the dealership undercover and i went around the back to see if my car was inside the dealership couldnt see it through the windows so i got scared , then when i went in today it appears they have an extended shop that was covered by a huge wall were only Z's are fixed LOL

 

good to hear that your car was not entered into a demolotion durby. What's their answer to why they have to keep the car so long?

 

Didnt ask just siad they had alot of work to do . Maybe they are installing a turbo on the house

 

You should still set at least one of them on fire...

didnt bother asking didnt really care at that moment ,everything looked ok. I'll take pics of the car when i pic it up today.

 

Some of you allready know that i had my car taken to the dealer to get fixed . Tonight i picked it up checked for dings and they gave me the keys and off i went. was fun... i decided to go home to get my movies and exchange them at blockbuster so i leave my car running in front of our house so i go upstairs to get the movies and come back only to **** my pants you wont believe what happens next!! I look up and see a wall off ice come CRASHINNNGGGG DOWWWN on me BAMMMM!!!! WOOOOOSSHHH IT goes all over the ground . I will say no more All i will say is it was a merical I my self was not harmed neither did my car it was inches away from the Z I dont understand ??? It completly missed my car and I Thank you lord jesus. I will never forget this day

WOW.. Glad you are ok. We might have earth quakes but no ice. (it was 74 today)
