Default 350z AutoCad Blocks

I decided it was time to liven up my CAD library. I did some 350s in AutoCad tonight. Download if you can use 'em.

Um... AutoCad! Or any CAD program that can translate .dwg files.

Well, I AM old enough to remember the digitizer, but young enough to have tossed it into the trashcan years ago. To think a good digitizer cost over $1500.00 ten years ago. Now they're worthless!

To think a good digitizer cost over $1500.00 ten years ago.
Im not old enough to remember the days when digitizers were the thing. Im the IT guy at an engineering firm and we have about 20 of those things in storage. We cant throw them away, they cost us as much as a 350Z!

Oh, and thanks for the file... I'll take it to work and show the CAD guys, I know a few who will think its cool. If you update it again let us know!

You can export it as an .eps (postscript) file....
eps can be read in adobe Photoshop.

The detail stays there when you zoom in and out.

Got lucky when I got into it they were just coming out with Autocad 14.

Autodesk makes a viewer program called Volo View Express that is a free download. This will enable you to view and read the file.

Default Which CAD did Nissan use to design the Exterior?

Since we are on the topic of CAD and 350Z, does anyone know what CAD software package was used to create these beautiful smooth flowing lines seen on 350Z?
I believe the powertrain component and interior trim is done using "I-deas", but not certain about the exterior(Class A surfacing).

Thaks Futuredeadguy for the great CAD blocks. Whenever I can I will try to insert them into my work Drawings. I don't do many site plans but when I do there will be a 350Z instead of the dumb beetle.

i use autocadd...
but these blocks are not true size?
and i use autocad so i can draw everything at 1:1 ratio...

what scale factor do i need to enlarge these blocks so they are 1:1 ratio???

Sorry Wise, forgot to scale. The scale factor is approx 14.19.

Or just download it again. I have scaled the copy posted online

Hey CLS

I'm an architect. We actually use MicroStation where I work, but anything I do at home is on AutoCAD.
