Default Rear axle clicking on an 05 with wheel/suspension mods.

So I noticed lately that the right rear of my car sounds like someone stuck a playing card between the spokes of my Volks.. So I came here and did a quick search for "clicking noise" and found that it was a common problem with Z's. I also see that there is a TSB out for this issue.

Now my question is, will the dealer give me a hard time becuase I'm lowered with 19's?

Thanks.

you shouldn't have a problem. just bring a copy of the TSB with you when you bring your car in. if it is the rear axle (which is all they will address if you bring in the TSB with you and say thats what you want done) they shouldn't be able to deny you coverage to address that since its a known issue. if you do have problems, just go to a mod friendly dealer. I'm sure there are quite a few in the so cal area.

The rear axle clicks wether you modify the car or not. BTW good luck. I have been waiting for the service bulletin parts for 5 months.

Thanks. Yeah the service manager is pretty cool at my local dealer, so hopefully there won't be any issues.

This might come as a surprise but I believe the clicking went away. Go figure.
