I recall reading a couple months back, that some kid totaled his car with the spare on it, while trying to impress one of his friends in the car.....is this it by any chance?

If I had to guess, I would say that they put the spare on in order to make the car mobile(push it). The stock rim was prob. wrecked in the crash...they do this all the time at body shops.
Looks like the only parts left are 2 maybe 3 17" rims. Looks like the engine was shifted..no?..which prob. means the tranny is f**ked.
