Sorry man, but other than the HUD, that list is a joke. Memory seats and a power antenna do not make up a world class car.
The formula seems pretty simple to me. A good looking design, lots of power, light weight, quality chassis and suspension, along with a good interior would make most everyone happy. Of course price plays a consideration so you don't end up with a supercar. Then the cut off point for the Z is around $30-40K so more cutbacks are made. Once again, you're left with a decent performing car for the price.
For cars in the same price, the difference lies in the details, but those details are definitely not a silly engine light or some utterly useless power adjustable rear-view mirror.

The KPTech module locks the doors 6 seconds after the engine starts.

An offroad version for 4x4
Bench seats for 3 people and your dates can slide over easily
Steering wheel shaped like inside of the Milennium falcon with (trigger buttons for radio not lasers)
Gullwing/Suicide doors to keep it interesting
Flip headlights
C.B. radio in the Navi compartment
Iron instead of aluminum to make it extremely durable
Non functional hood scoops on the roof
Side exhaust like Saleen or 6 tip exhaust for each manifold
economy mode for those who buy Z's and question if 87 is safe for the engines

I am one of the few pure sports car lovers out there. To me less is more and I can do without all the extra ‘nice’ stuff any day of the week. Especially if it brings the cost of the car down! But there is still no reason why the factory can’t offer them as extra upgrades. That would make everyone happy, especially the dealers…

I would say, the Z should be able to hit at least 0-60 within 4.5-5 range.
and would run under 13.5 for 1/4 miles.
Interior materials need change.
Need to loose some weight.
Need Twin Turbos

How about they release a factory 350ZTT? Thats about the only other thing Id want outta the car... unless you count taking "out" things.
Make the car lighter, add some power, make the upgraded brakes on the track edition standard, nicer stock suspension is always great too.
Other than that, I agree, give all that junk to the G35... Z= sport G= luxury

What about having the nav option as standard. If Acura and Honda can do this with their cars, why not Nissan. IMHO if you're willing to plunk down $29-34k for a car some things should just be included in the package!

Where do you get that Honda and Acura have navigation as a standard?
Here is the base 2006 Honda accord:
http://automobiles.honda.com/models/...pe&Category=LX
I don't see any navigation.
Here is the standard list for the 2006 Acura TL:
STANDARD EQUIPMENT - 2006 TL 6-SPEED MANUAL
TECHNICAL FEATURES
-3.2-liter, 24-valve, 258-hp VTEC V-6 engine - No tune-ups for 100,000 miles or more*
-6-speed close-ratio manual transmission with limited-slip differential
-Brembo 4-piston front calipers
-SOHC 24-valve with Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control (VTEC) system
-Torque-sensitive, variable power-assist rack-and-pinion steering
-Dual-diagonal, power-assisted, 4-wheel disc brakes with ABS
-Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-FI)
-Independent double-wishbone front suspension
-Multi-link rear suspension
No mention of Navigation as standard. Where are you getting this idea that Honda and Acura comes standard with Navigation?

I'd be okay with the auto-locking door thing - it adds a little security with no additional weight... as long as the door unlocks when you pull the handle. My Jeep GC did that and I liked it a lot. As it is, having to flip the unlock lever first is annoying.
Ditto for the memory seat.
If you're gonna do the flip-out mirror thing, why not just lose the mirrors altogether and put side-view cameras? I'm not saying they should, but it might be cool and cars may evolve that way someday anyway. The benefit is less drag (i.e. better aerodynamics) and potentially better side visibility.
The active spoiler thing is okay if you're driving 150+ mph; otherwise, not so much!
+1 on the window antenna idea. Although, I might like to have both window and regular antennas for "diversity" tuning (i.e. the receiver picks the best signal).
Also, I think the time has come for 360 degree video event recorders (i.e. black boxes). They are small and lightweight now. Plus, capturing real-time video of the ******* who turns into your lane or runs a red light, and then blames you for it, would be sweet:

None of these options would make it "exotic". These options would make it heavier. My Jetta had autolocking doors..exotic?--no. Some VW beetles had auto spoilers. The rest are virtually useless amenities in line with a Caddy or Lexus. The only place that I think it could use anything is maybe 25-30more hp and equal torque upgrade.
