i cant find the switch to open the back hatch

Default i cant find the switch to open the back hatch

guys: i might sound like a dumb ***, but i cant find my hatch switch to open my trunk.... i had a z before and dont remember having this problem..... but now that i have this newer im clueless... simple question looking for a simple answer.... thanks josh

Under the rear window latch above the license plate (rear that is)

either your remote or above your liscense plate....

switch / button whatever..... it has one on the remote but not in the interior

thats where i thought it was.... (above the license plate) of course i have pressed that button before and nothing happened, i juuust went out to press it again and sure enough, no wonder i didnt think it had a button.... the damn thing doesnt work lol thanks guys

The car has to be unlocked before the switch will work, too. Just making sure you had unlocked both doors.

It may be turned off also. There is a switch on the top of the glove box that turns the button on and off. Open it up and you'll see a little switch. I'm pretty sure that's what it's for. That, or it turns the ability to use the remote to open it on and off.

Really? Never seen that before; thought I think I've only ever opened my glove box twice...
