Default Weird experience RPM needle got stuck.

I was coming home after getting 06 tail lights installed,
and the RPM needle got stuck at 1K and 3K on three occasions.
I restarted the car and it hasn't done it since.
It kinda scared me...I hope it doesn't come back.
Same thing happened to you guys?

I had that happen a while back. Someone mentioned that it had something to do with sunlight hitting the gauge or something like that. Something about sunlight hittling the gauge messes it up a bit. I dunno. It hasn't happened since though. I don't think it's anything major to worry about. Did you guys happen to be driving with the afternoon sun at your back or side?

The Z dials are optical. If you have light hit it in just the right way it can cause the needle to get stuck temporarily sometimes. It's not damaged. It tends to happen more often in the roadster. There's a post somewhere that describes why it gets stuck.
