who owned a nissan before there z
I have been a Profwd Honda builder for years now...750hp in a 2000lb FWD street car is not as fun as rear wheel drive despite how much fun it is racing bikes from a 80mph roll, lol
Moved on to a 1996 240sx with a bunch of mods..Still have
Bought a 1995 R33 RB25DET with 44,000 orginal miles!! This is what caused the Nissan craze with me. This car rocked!! Rear wheel drive and good quality. Sold it just because I got tired of dealing with people stopping me and decided I wanted a 350z instead.
350z is a great bang for buck car..I have driven alot of different cars and this one compares to some that are quite a bit more expensive.

my first car was nissan altima 95. I had all bolt-on's. It ran in the high 13's. Now i have a touring 03. Not going to mod as much bc i learned they not only lower value of car but you will never get any money in return for ur investment.
1990 Nissan Pathfinder 100,000 + miles gave it to my daughter and she drove it another 50,000 miles never had a problem with it.
2000 Nissan Sentra ex-wife got it
2004 Nissan Maxima new wife car
1999 Nissan 200SX son's car

1999 Nissan 200SX son's car
1991 SE-R (wife's car)
1996 Nissan Pickup
2001 Sentra
2005 350Z
Never had to take a single one of them to the shop for any warranty repairs either. The Sentra had one TSB we took it in for and it was related to the wheels....that's it. Solid as rocks.

I owned a 2002 Altima. Very nice car, but just not a Z. This past Wednesday I went in to get the 30,000 mile warranty work done on it, and walked out with a new Z. LOL. I've wanted a Z forever, and things fell right into place.
Mid-life crisis? Second childhood? I don't care, I finally got my first Z!
Now I just wish I could sleep at night, and quit taking trips to the garage to admire it. And, did I really have to take a couple of days off work just so I could drive it? Yes, indeed I did!

I owned a 2000 Maxima... still love it. Definitely wish it was a 6-spd though.
My dad owned a ~1982 Z, my mom owned a ~1970s Z before that. We are a family of Z drivers.
Heritage definitely played a role, but the 350Z is just a great car for the money. Hard to pass up unless you need a 4-door.

-1982 280ZX- Brothers car in FACTORY Condition with only 36k ORIGINAL miles
This car gets stares as if it was a lamborghini! (Garage queen)
-1995 Pathfinder SE V6- I made a high 14 second car out of this heavy SUV which also had an audio system in it
-2006 350z- Hopefully in my grasp this early May
