Do non-xenon Z's look the same as those with Xenon?
I got a base 350 (no controls on steering wheel and no diff) but its got the headlamps that look like its xenon, is xenon and option on the base model or can you just not tell the difference just by looking at it. It doesnt really seem like its got xenons but this whole time i thought they were just real w hite...help me out
There is a noticable difference between the Xenon and the non-xenon headlights. If you ever consider getting a HID plug and play kit in your base, the results are not the same. The Factory Xenon headlights have different optics inside the housing itself. Even though the Non-Xenon and Xenon headlights look identical on the outside, the way they were constructed are totally different. The wiring is different (base 6 prong plug, xenon headlight has a 8 prong plug). If you want the true authentic Xenon Factory look, you'll have to purchase the entire headlight from a member on the board.
The projection of light emits a glare if you put a 'plug and play kit' in a non-Xenon car (03-05 models) 06's come with HIDs so you won't have any issues. The glare isn't that bad, but if comparable to factory HID, you can tell which one's the plug and play base and which one came with factory HID's
