Hey guys with base models, we can spend about 2k and still have spent 3 or 4k less than the others, with the cars looking and performing mostly the same! I just recived my K2 HID xenon's. I ordered from a guy on ebay and it cost me $470 including shipping and handling, which i thought was a good deal since most companies charge 500 anyway, and it will prob cost about 50 or less to install. Anyway, this is an HID upgrade kit, which includes everything you need to upgrade our halogen lights to xenons. EVERYTHING is included. To bad my Z wont be here for another week. But my xenons are ready... ( i got "purple ones", they give it a more exotic souped up BMW look, theyre not ricey or fake looking type)

I also plan on getting red leather in my silverstone, red brake calipers, 20, or 25% tints all around(hope i dont get pulled over for those) have my V1 hard wired, and getting a car cover possibly. I think it will make my base pretty "touring", im fine with out those braking, dnamic etc. systems. Ive got them all in my G35, and theyre hardly ever engaged. I think as long as you drive carfull in bad conditions it will be 100% fine. Plus you should drive carefull in those conditions anyway. Also i dont care about bose system, and you guys say it sucks anyway. I like loud music, but i dont need to blast. Heated seats usually get to hot, although heated mirrors are a nice tough. Auto dimming mirror is great, but i have tints so wont really need that. Ah yes and the aluminum pedals i already have (couresty parts) recived them about 4 days after ordering, and i live on long island, NY !! '


The rest of you base orders tell me what your doing! Also if your from New York, and you wanna see my car when im done with all these things (probobly about 2 weeks or less after i get my car) (most will be done that week if possible) Just gimme a holla! By the way im 19, yes i had help getting the car, but im still paying for part of it, and all the insurance by working! and going to school too.......

OK im 18, and turning 19 in Oct. But i know how much you guys hate us "kids." Also my 95 maxima was hit, and we got a nice amount for that, which deffinitly helped my cause. But all in all including tax, upgrades and everything its going to cost 31,500 give or take a few dollars......

Nope....J/k there are a couple of guys here that ordered base....
Funny thing is for all of you upgrades equaling around 31k I got my Enthusiast for 31,040 (with everything). Why go through all the trouble. Base is just well..."Base".

 

How are you going to upgrade your differential to limited-slip? That alone is worth the extra cost to Enthusiast, and the HIDs, cool aluminum pedals, etc. are just a bonus.

But whatever, you will enjoy your base anyway, and you saved some money. But don't try to say the Enthusiast isn't worth the extra money, because it's a really good deal.
