I'm moving from a townhouse with underground parking to a house where I'll have to park on the street. I probably won't even bother washing it until the nice weather comes since it will just get rained on constantly.

"...i'm looking for a condo and i'm not sure if i need garage parking or not, since it's more expensive..."

If you can afford it, get the garage. Two reasons:
1. Your Z loves to be in a garage
2. It's an investment for you, you think now it's expensive, wait another 3 years.

My Z sleeps in the garage. I wouldn't have it any other way.

i park outside i have a black z i just have to wash it once a week. and just try to park away from other cars. or park next to other cars that are nice and probubly wont slam there door into you. and i had a cover for my 300zx. it got annoying taking it off and putting it on every day. it was an expensive one to. i mostly used it when i knew it was going to rain or i was going to leave it for a couple of days. just somthing to think about.

My Z lives outside. Garages at apartment complexes are expensive. I'm not too worried about the what the rain does to the paint....because it's already screwed up from just driving it every day. My plan is to have a place to put her by the time she's paid off....so then I can get her a new coat of paint, garage her, stick on a clear bra, and get a new daily driver.

My car is outside in the wind, rain and snow. A cover is a must.

Not essential for the Z but if you can afford a condo with garage it would be a much better investment.

Condo's without garages are the first units to tank when the housing market goes down.

I would DEFINATLY get a garage if you can afford it! preserves paint, less washing/ waxing less sun fading if yer in sunny area.

i wouldnt get a car cover because it just looks wierd and attracts wrong kind of attention, and the curiosity it generates.
they tend to generate the feeling of..." oh hees got a car cover i wonder whats under there, must be expensive. he probably doesnt use that car much lets get into it""

Mine is silverstone and Has to park allong the stret and i HATE dooing it but thats my situation for now. I keep it Well waxed. it is BY FAR the best, most expencive car in Da' Hood
i find hand prints on the windows all the time.. THATS what makes me nervous
