You already have a very pretty one, perfectly integrated to the interior design of your car...

I’m as skeptical as ever…

So you couldn’t do donuts before?

The steering is lighter? Nothing mechanical has been affected by the change, the steering effort should not change. If it has, then your power steering is working harder to boost all the time. This is not a positive thing, it actually prevent you from feeling the road and available traction up front…

Actually, '03-'05 Zs have engine speed sensitive steering ('06 went to vehicle speed sensitive), so as RPMs rise, so does steering effort. Apparently diasbling the VDC in this way also kills the speed sensitive steering, so the steering requires constant effort that does not change. The steering feels lighter b/c it remains at the lightest level and does not increase. Not sure if I'd like this or not; I like a nice, firm steering feel. Have to try it out for myself...

nice work... I had a toggle switch routed to the power feed wire into the Yell sensor... and you don't need to take the centre console off all the time just want to get rid of the VDC/SLIP... but simply just flick the switch and they are all off!

cheers,

richie

yeah i don't see the steering affected... Maybe if we had the system from an S2000 with the electric assist... All this should do, and some one feel free to correct me, is get rid of the electronic diff, and the throttle control while on the brakes...

On my z if i turn VDC off with the switch and go an do a donut (artistic driving), then my VDC and slip light come on and stay on. The VDC button won't do anything and they both stay locked in the off posistion unless you cycle the ignition.

Mine too! And after the lights are on, the burning out is on too!

I like the "artistic driving". That's a good one to tell a cop when you get pulled over for burning out!

"what's wrong ociffer? you don't like my artistic driving?"
