You traded in your newer car for an older car which was more prone to problems and you are paying more and you are happy? They must have excellent salesman out there. Believe me, they are still talking about you. How much more would it have been to get an 05 or even an 06?

the 05 had 24000 and the 04 has 21000 miles so i figured it was not so bad. and i got a bunch more extras so i was content. i really wanted the white first anyway. let the salesman talk cause im 21 and on my way to making some very productive investments. when im 25 i should be very well off so who smiles last. anyway i appreicate the comments and wish my fellow z owners the best.

Trading in one piece of deprecating machinery for an older one (and paying more) could be argued as a nonproductive investment. .02

The purchase of any vehicle, could most definitely be argued as a nonproductive investment so it really doesn't matter...

What he did wasn't that bad.

When the gas crunch hit after the hurricanes, i remember people that would take their 05' 04' inset name here suv that they were $6k+ upside down in, and want to trade it in on a accord or such. So they just roll their $6k of negative equity into another new car, lets just say a $21K accord. After all this they would end up spending $27k on a more "efficent car" just for it to be worth ~$18k as soon as they hit the street ... All this to save $30/mo in gas... LMAO

tk2005 i work as a title agent and getting real estate license. also the person that owns both of these companies owns a lot aquisition company that is located in one of the most inflated real estate markets ( cape coral )florida. i have learned a few things from him as far as investing and flipping land and avoiding capital gains. this is what leads me to believe it is possible after all goals are just dreams without plans and beleve me i have a good plan right now. when i make it ill send you a pm. lol

Considering that he now has an enthusiast model vs a base, slightly less miles and that he got the color he really wanted is good enough reason even if its a year older.....figure, its alot cheaper than a paint job, HIDs and the other mods in his case...

just my $0.02

Take this for instance. Im 23. I worked for the gov overseas for a year and came back with $250k. Started my IRA and 401k and did the whole stock market thing. Got in with Google when it was an IPO and made some good money. Trust me, its possible to be well off in 4 years if you do the right stuff.

Whats funny about that is I traded in an 02 Maxima for my 04 350Z and my insurance actually dropped $200 every 6 months just by getting a sports car! Weird eh?
