After what seemed like an eternity, it finally arrived last Wed -- while I was on business in Florida. Needless to say, I was at the dealership within an hour of getting off the plane. I had instructed the dealer to hold the license plate, and let me do the washing.

It was a beautiful day today, and I took the opportunity to clean it up a bit. I've got a Stongard install scheduled for first thing Monday, so I haven't Zaino'd it yet, but check out that shine anyway! I'm quite pleased with the paint, actually. Very little orange peel, and no rattles that I've found so far. I can't believe how much fun this car is.

On my initial test drive before I bought it, I was challenged by a late 80's Mustang GT. On the way home that same night after I bought it, I was chased down by a WRX who then pulled up to the side and just stared at it for about a mile or so. The stares you get are incredible, and there are no end of compliments on the color combo -- Orange on Orange ROCKS!

The AutoArt 350Z that I am going to mail to you on Monday is the EXACT same set up as your new ride. It has burnt orange seats and the same 18" alloy wheel design and no rear spoiler!

Glad to hear you're adding the Clearbra, I'm going to do the same. I was thinking of going the Backfire route as I may not have as much time to lay down a Zillion coats of Zaino like the Dr. (Bonz).

And great work on the Photoshop of the blue sky! Living here in the NW I know that had to come from the one sunny day you had on June 21st last year! (OK, I'm just kidding - we had two sunny days)....

This is one of Nissan's stock footage shots, but this is really close to what it really looks like. The previous two posts look a bit more red/orange than what they do in natural light. In reality, they almost look like an Orange Julius... or something like that.
