Question Questions

Hey everyone, ive gotta couple of question. Im looking seriously to buy a 350 in the next couple of weeks, but i want to get a few things straight.

Ive heard of problems, like the sound system being crappy, tires, etc... have any of you had any problems and are they managable/fixable?

Aftermarket, i know in the next few months, there's gonna be alot...what'r some good tuners to look out for?(im a BMW guy, dont know to much about japanese aftermarket)

Final question.... Nedd some help, Super Black on Orange leather, or Daytona Blue on black ????

Thanks alot for the help

My Z is the Performance model. Now have 1150 miles including 325 over the last three days on a camping/drive-the-new-z trip.
My car has had zip problems; none of the things I've seen mentioned on here. I even think the stero is okay.

Even the stuff mentioned here is for, the most part, easily fixable.

Check out the Brickyard color before making your final decision.
We "Bricks" think it is the best!

1. sound system is ok, tires no problems, no problems thus far at 4k.

2. aftermarket:

3. I like all of the above, but IMO black would have better resale capabilities.

Stereo system--only the touring owners had complaints, but the bose problem should be fixed by now.

Tires--they're not all weather tires, so they don't handle as well in, say for example, a winter storm. But you can get some mileage out of them and upgrade to Michellin Pilots.

Tuners--that's already been answered the best it can be, so there's no point in reposting.

Color Combo--it's really personal preference. Both look good, IMO, although I would lean more towards the Daytona Blue combo. Orange anything is just too much for me. Then again, I am an Aggie, so I'm a little biased against the color.

I live in the Chicago area, and have had my car since 8/24/02, and to tell the truth, I love this car! I have the Touring, so I have the Bose stereo and it's okay, not the worst and not the best. As for the tires, they are summer tires and should be used for driving during three seasons of the year. I put winter tires on the car and it handles like a dream, no issues what so ever. As for the color, that your choice, I don't have either of those colors, so I can't help you.

Good luck with your decision.
