I'm so Pissed
Well, I go to my PPW 350 to go to the store and what do I see........the same damn orange cat sitting on my hood! I park under a car port but the cat didn't get the hint last time I ran after him. So, I ran after him again and just like you see a cat on a slippery floor try to get away quickly, he scratched the sh*t out of my hood trying to get away! I got so pissed I threw my keys at him, but missed. I don't believe in hurting animals but this cat has it comin' So, after searching for my keys and finally finding them, I take a look at the hood. Of course, I see all kinds of swirl type scratches where he was. I spoke to the apt. manager (of course, he's new) and he knows of no one who owens the damn thing. I left a Msg. with animal control, as well, saying it's a stray cat. That cat is going to get it next time I see it.
What do you guys recommend to fix the scratches without thinning out the top clear coat? I'll probably just take it to the detail/car wash place down the street or I was thinking the Nissan dealership. They have a detail center and I have a good relationship with them. What should I ask for?
Thanks.

back to your question, if the scratch is not deep, you can wax them and they will be back to normal.
the cats owners are responsible for what it gets upto. Their cat damages your car, they pay to get it fixed.
I hate cat owners, they let the Bl**dy things roam the streets crapping in peoples gardens, jumping on their cars, it wouldn't be acceptable from a dog, why let a cat do it.

I have the same problem, my neighbor likes to feed stray cat and a few weeks ago I found a bunch of deep scratches and to top it off the cat **** on my car. So later that day I confronted my neighbor about the problem and she said that the cats were not hers and that she only feeds them, so to make a long story short I got a car cover.
