Ya know, other than the Z meets I go to, I don't see them that often on the road. Total I've seen I think 5 or 6 when I wasn't on my way to or from a Z gathering.

I don't really care, though. I love that car no matter how many people drive one!

There are a lot of Z's here in the Seattle area. I've seen bunches of them to the tune of 1-2 per week, and sometimes more on weekends.

The problem here in Seattle is that everyone (including me) has the Chrome Silver. Makes them seem even more common.

First off, if that old geezer was driving a LeMans sunset an apology is in order wildone_106.

Secondly, lets face it, here in Seattle and Redmond the number of Cararas, Boxters Jaguars, NSXs, s2000s TTs, M3s and even Ferraris means that a lot of Zs will also be sold since the discretionary income here allows it and the weather makes for year-round driving of sportscars. Move to Montana if you wish to be unique with your car.

Considering all the other cars I mentined the Z is relatively cheap (read that affordable) for the performance ability. You and I are not the only ones to realize this, are we?

what lol I dunno but If I see another old geezer with hair club for men look driving another corvette or Z I'll puke esp in Seattle.

Your right tho, here in microsoft land it is'nt anything special seeing top of the line cars, beemers are 10 a penny *yawn* same with porches, but the end came quicker than I expected here thats all Im saying. So whats next, since everyone has the "Same" Z I expect the rice plastic brigade to start defacing the style next so sad

Default Even in the deep midwest!

Here in north eastern South Dakota, where I live, a town of
24,000 hardy souls, there are 2 Z's in town a black, and a blue.
There are 2 in the dealership. Since we're in the thick of
winter in the icy plains, I didn't expect to see 2 in town being
driven at this time of the year. I actually hope that this becomes
much more common sighting, since I I'm low profile and I like
to drive a Z for the mere driving pleasure, not to be gauck at.

Since it's release I've only seen 6 other Zs, and that only at night. Maybe it has to due with the recent chill

Well, I went in and out of the city 2x's today and did not see even one Z. So, there goes my 2 out of 3x's theory. At one point the Z did manage to draw a small crowd. She still is a looker. -m

Is it possible to just enjoy the car instead of complaining? There are too many Z's on the road, there is not 300 hp,it ONLY goes 0-60 in 5.4 seconds,it should have been a 2+2,the ride is too harsh,it ONLY goes to 160mph on top end,the antenna, etc, etc, etc.
This car is AWESOME.

The first time Ive seen a Z in motion is before I got my own. I was like sh*t! damn! I cant believe I have my own Z! Not many out there. Its limited production and has only 2 seats, never will be popular like sedans or suvs.

I think that is best point I have seen thus far. I look everytime. Plus it may seem common b/c you are more apt to notice than a common sedan or LS1/LT1 type.

i don't see any Z up in vancouver...(Canada, for those who don't know)..

probably because there are only 3 trims for sell...

unlike the states where u can buy a base model for under 30k..

289,000,000 not incl. unknown amount of undocumented illegals.
30,000 350Zs to be manufactured by year.

So 1% of the pop will own a Z.... or less depending on household

Well if you wanna have a one of a kind car you can always shape it like a woman holding a big hoaggie Im sure nones tryed that. If you got offered a Porche would you turn it down because you see 20 of them on a short trip? (well atleast here in LA you do) I doubt many people would =P Unfourtenatly the ricers have ruined it for people that have streetable race cars You know Ive been really thinking and I wish the 350Z's roof line was more squated...it makes cars look so much meaner like the Viper or TVR.
WAIT A MINUTE 1% OF THE POPULATION?! FUG IT IM RETURNING MINE! Specially since .35 will have a silver performance edition!

I live in the Jacksonville, Florida area and have had my Z for about a month now. To date, I've not seen another one on the road, though there are about four Nissan dealers in the area, and the one I got mine from said that they had delivered about ten by the time I received mine. Still a rarity on the road here so far, and we've got great weather for driving!!

I live just across the water in Victoria, there are currently a total of 3 owned/driven in my city and the Nissan dealership here has an additional 2 on the lot and one in the show room for sale.

Of the 3 owned/driven by people in Victoria, the owner of the dealership is driving one, I own one and I have seen the other gentleman with his in passing.

Of the 3 on the lot/showroom ... one is the white (damn that is a nice white) and two are silver ... my lack of interest in the silver colour keeps me from figuring out which particular silver they are

Last weekend I was in Vancouver visiting friends and I saw 3 in the course of 48 hours ... 2 silver and a white ... mine is Le Mans.

In Canada we are limited in what is available for options ... as far as I can see, they basically sell the American equivalent of:

1. Touring fully loaded Auto (no Aero Package)
2. Touring fully loaded Manual 6 (no Aero Package)
3. Track

I personally own the equivalent of a Touring fully loaded with no Aero package ... they call that the Performance model up here

Given the fact Nissan only markets the high end trims up here coupled with the fact most of Canada is blanketed in winter for a good portion of the year should keep them a little rarer up here.

Currently, if my dealer was correct, there are a total of 10 Le Mans Sunset with Burnt Orange Interior in all of Canada.

As for the 30000 number ... if I remember correctly that is the number of 350Z released in North America, which most Americans forget also includes Canada and Mexico

I do not believe they are currently being released in Mexico so that leaves Canada ... I imagine we will see about 3000 of that 30000 number

I'm one of those Seattle people driving a Z and yes it is popular in this area. I would have to say the demographic in this region is right up there with probably one of the top in the nation. Not only are we a wealthier region we are also VERY high on Japanese automobiles (has to do with PAN-AM trade in the region).

I personally could care less - the more the merrier. I still get stares and thumbs up.
