Give Me Your Order Number And Ill Tell You What The Progress Is.
You Dont Need Your Dealer To Tell You... Any Dealer Can.
Order Number Should Be A Letter Like A Y Followed By 6 Numbers Or So
Give Me That Number And Ill Let You Know Whats Going On

I don't know if you have found anything out yet - so - here is what we know after months of waiting, telephone calls and e-mails to various Nissan sites. You will be assigned an Order # X------ and a Production Month then there will be a Ship Date from Japan when it is loaded on the boat along with a VIN # then there will be an ETA date for arrival in the Port of Los Angeles then there will be Rail Ship Date when it is loaded on a rail car to go to the Regional Rail Head in Chicago at which point some of your options will be installed then onto a semi car carrier to your dealership. This entire process can take almost 4 months. We were told they only build Zs in the first 10 days of each month. After built, ours sat for 2 weeks then was put on the boat then 2 weeks on the water then sat 4 weeks at the dock then 15-17 days on the train then 4-7 days on the truck with sitting time at each transfer. But according to Nissan, a customer sold order, is expedited ahead of dealer stock. Our dealer told us 8 weeks from order to delivery and that continually changed after the 8th week until we starting investigating thru Nissan Customer Service in California. I hope this was informative.
