Default Hardest Color to Maintain??!?!?

I been searching on this forum for awhile for the prices and diff options and what not. Im done researching on it and time to decide what color is right.

I am going to be using this car as a DAILY DRIVER and IT WILL NOT BE GARAGE KEPT.

My choices: Daytona Blue or Pikes Peak WHITE???

What would yall suggest if i will not be keeping it garaged and will be using it as a daily? I know if i get blue i will worry about scratches and if i get white it will get dirty, so i cant decide....

white is the easiest color to keep clean, its a misconception that it gets hard to maintain. on the other hand darker colors show dust build up very easily.

Without a doubt, get the white. the blue will be just like owning a black car. White will look good even when dirty or dusty. The blue will look dirty 30 minutes after you wash it if you park outside all the time. BEN

I often comment in the detail forum when 350Z owners ask questions. However, if the car is black, I stay away from the thread.

Black requires unique care.

In my opinion, black is the best looking color when it's clean. But since you are choosing between PPW and DB, I would go with PPW. Like everyone else is saying, white doesn't look as dirty as darker colors.

From your choices WHITE. For other choices, I'd say SILVER. All the dark color cars are tough to keep clean, if not well-taken, you'll see a lot of swirl marks.

I have silverstone and keep it outside, I have a cover for it as well that I put on ocassionally. My car stays pretty clean, you can hardly tell its dirty after weeks but it doesnt really rain too often here.

I have a Silverstone Z and it is the easiest to care for color car I have ever owned. I have had several white cars and they were not bad and but the silver is even better. Living in Arizona dust is a nightmare and the silver hides it very well...

go with DB. Its not as dark as black so it will hide some of the dust and swirls (if you get any). As long as you clean it atleast every other week, it should stay fairly clean.

I'd say go with PPW...before I got my (black) Z, I drove a blue Integra, and that was just as much of a PITA as black is to keep clean.

i have DB and it is daily drive. I don't see anythign about hard to keep them clean. Just wash them weekly. It is shiny when you drive (DB) compare to PPW.

GO FOR DB.

I had a white civic hatchback and that car would look clean even without washing it for months and covered in pollen. When my sister's boyfriend would come over with his blue civic hatch his always looked dirty even when he washed it the week before.

Darker colors seem to show dirt a lot easier than brighter colors. I always thought it was wierd how my white hatchback always looked clean. The only way you could tell it was dirty was it didn't have that freshly washed/polished/waxed look, or you were really close and dragged your finger across the cm of dirt covering the car.

My silverstone is pretty good at looking clean, but does need to be washed a whole lot more to keep the clean look. Although I like washing/waxing it just to protect the paint and keep it looking nice.
