If it does snow don't get to nervous I drove mine in 3 inches from Mahwah to North Bergen and made it. Just take it real easy.. My buddy has a 03 PPW and he lives in Freehold. Have fun and hope to see you on the road.

if you're looking for body shops in north jersey (not sure where Freehold is) you can check out ATX Motorsports. i've never been there personally, but will be doing business with them soon. you can search for it on the forums and you'll find really good ratings from Z owners. ask for narvin when you do call.

If yours 350Zhas traction control-don't be scared!!!!
I was driving back home from eastern washington over the mountains, and it snowed there.....a lot. And snow and mountains aren't good combo, you know. Anywayys I got home safely, with couple drifts(I did some on purpose.....just couldn't stand it)but IF you don't want to ya car to drift, it won't, as long as you take it easy. It was my first inn snow journey exept getting home from work once in a snowy day with AWD volvo SUV.....that's way safer than RWD 300HP Z...lol

The 350z's sophistication level rivals that of the Porsche 944S and then some. Short shift it with stock tires and you'll be spinning them not meaning to.
I paid about the same for my 944S in '89 but, it didn't have 300HP and such nice handling. You'll see. Plus it is much more reliable .... you'll find this all out as you go along. I do wish we had a sunroof as my 944S had. That was nice. However, I am finding it isn't a big deal since I have had verts, suns, and t-tops for years and rarely used them in traffic. Just too much exhaust these days. A/C is much nicer.
For the snow may I recommend Michelin Pilot A/S if you plan to drive in the snow a little and want good summer tire as well. Otherwise, of course ultimate winter traction get blizzaks.
Congrats on getting your new car !!!!!
