He/she does have a dyno plot in the pics showing 850whp.

$70k though... good luck. Haha. Maybe $40k.

A built motor with Twins AND nitrous? Yeah, I could see 800. Sharif is pulling mid 600's on his car without nitrous. I wouldn't want to do it for too long, but I wouldn't be so quick to raise the B.S. flag.

If you look at the dollars it took to build that car, asking 70K is not unreasonable. The problem is going to be finding someone who wants to take on the risk of a car like that.

^Just because you spent that much on the car doesn't mean thats what you can get. Modifying a car doesn't add any value to it. Besides, who the hell knows how that thing was treated.

idunno that thing seems kinda like a quickly slapped together for SEMA type car. you know what I mean? one of those cars a bunch of sponsors decided they wanted just for a show and gave a shop a few weeks to build and push as much on a dyno sheet as possible. its probably never even seen the road since it was built for the show and given it might have been a rush project who knows how much time and care was taken in getting everything done right?

as far as the dollars, we all know the true market value of any modded car is acutally lower than if it was stock. sure a car like this will likely sell for a little more than current market value of a like stock G, but unless it has some intrinsic or collectible value its not worth anywhere near 70k.

take a DEEEEEP breath, go back and read my post. They say in the ad that they've got over 100K into the car, they're asking 70K. They (and I) are aware that mods never offer a 100% ROI, but to say that mods don't add *any* value? I don't agree by a long-shot.

I also said something about "finding someone willing to take on the risk of a car like that", so in that regards, I agree....It's a tough sell.

Yeah, it may be a "thrown together car", who knows. With a built motor, I'm inclined to think not, but one never knows.

As for the mods, the car might be worth it to someone who wants a "turnkey powerhouse" without having to go through all the BS of acquiring and installing the parts, but for average Joe who wants to "mod as he goes", you're right, it's a steep price tag.

LOL....that is EXACTLY what I thought when I saw it. I was thinking "Do they know it's a 1/4 mile track, not a 14 mile track?"

its a nice car. I’m going to assume that bidding will pick-up about 24 hours before the auction ends.
