New habits because you own a Z....
1. I notice curbs and steer wide so I don't rash my rims!
--> TRUE. But only after i switch to 20" Maido. They are freaking expensive.
2. I will go out of my way to stay off of roads with pot holes!
--> Nah.
3. I park very, very carefully and do a full walk around before I
leave the spot!
--> try not to hit the front bumper. Don't walk around. That just too much.
4. I will go across town to the other Zaxby's to get food just to
drive my Z longer!
--> Nah. Gas expensive.
5. After two years I still talk to the car..."Hi Z, how are
you?" "Ready to go for a drive?" LMAO
--> No.
6. Look back when I park to see how sexy my Z is!
--> sometime.
7. TRACK MY CAR!!! Never dawned on me to do this in any other
car I owned.
--> oh yah. But worry about the cost of replacing 20" tire. hehe
8. Modding! Z has a wardrobe!!!
-->

I look at the car's reflection when i drive past windows
I park next to poles in the car park so that there's less chance of door dings from that side
I wash my car more than I wash myself
Every time I'm on ebay the first thing i search for is "350z"

tienlo, I also love pulling up to SUV's with huge 20's or larger that are solid/dish-like so I can admire the Z's reflection in the rims!! The driver is all smile because they think I'm checkin' out their ride, but it's my Z babe that's gettin' my attention....LMAO
Keep up the good posts you all. Nice to see all of the madd habits for Da Z!!

Another + for finding myself at this site way too frequently.
I do find myself pulling a morning fishtail out of my neighborhood on the way to the office. Gotta love that this can be done while keeping the rpms below 4k during break-in.
Wow, and in-between wash spray detailing. I have never been so **** about a car's looks. This thing just isn't allowed to have dirt on it, or so it seems form the way I've been acting.

Hearing all you guys talk about your z makes me want to just go home and get one. its kinda jacked that i have to wait till april or so i dont think i can last that long looking at my friend Zincognito Driving his z and me waiting to get mine. SO SO SO painful ahh i think ill get it in 3 weeks right before i go home...lol
Guilty of quite a few of those, I'm to the extent that while looking back at her to admire after parking I will hit the lock button (silent mode) 1 or 2 more times just to watch the lights flash, and think "Yea, that is MY Z!"
I always tell my girlfreind that look that cars nice and then i oh its my Z. She just laughs and says you are a dork, But i tell her you have to admit its a beautiful car.
It's winter time.. and I think I've hand washed my new Z at home more than I ever washed my '96 Sebring (i live in Michigan..yes.. I'm close to crazy)
I do drive out of the way for simple errands... cuz I just love driving her.
I quit smoking about 3 weeks before the car arrived from Japan. I smoked for 9 out of the last 10 years. I'll never smoke again.
I'll never eat in my Z... not until she's all banged up at least.
I get a little more pissed at other people who drive too closely either on sides or behind me.
I am, once again, a parking master. And yes.. I park way in the back of the lot - or away from everyone else..leaving many open spaces all around me..and never closer than a foot away from the parking block.
I show appreciation for other's enthusiastic reactions to my car.
I enjoy driving more than I ever have in 15 years. I'm 31..started driving at 16. I love this machine. I love my Veronica.

Today I decided to work from home.....at least that's what I told the people I work with. Truth be told, I waxed it in the garage last night and it was drizzling this morning so I wouldn't take it out. LMAO Lucky for me, my job allows me to have days like this.

-I find myself at WOT everytime there's no traffic
-There's pre-planned spots on my way to/from work that get the downshift/throttle punch combo to slide around corners daily
-I constantly kick the throttle when at idle to hear the intake suck in and exhaust note
-Definately roll down the windows in tunnels... hell, I drive with the windows down unless it's raining or snowing just to hear her
-I stopped listening to the radio when I drive her
-She never sees drive-thrus in fear of 1) curbing a wheel and 2) no food or drink sees the inside of her unless it's packaged and in grocerie bags
