Default Sentra SE-R vs. Z...?

Got a guy with a Sentra SE-R who wants to run me... Should I be the least bit worried?

Listen...street racing is bad. BUT...the Sentra is a FWD sedan with like 230-240 hp tops (i'm prolly wrong on this figure)...the Z has about 300HP and is a RWD sports car...you should be fine.

The Spec V puts down maybe 150 to the wheels stock if he's lucky.

I used to own one that put down 180 hp/tq which was fairly modded and I raced a couple of Z's and got beat. Then when I got my Z I ran my old car which was bought by a freind and the Sentra still got beat.

So even if you blow the launch you will still win.

That depends, is he running 101 octane gas?

I'm a male, and I heard from my father's only son that 101 octane gas will have that car running in the 8s stock.

90% of the above is untrue. All generalizations are false, including this one.

No, he's bone-stock, I know that for sure.

One time we arranged a race and I didn't show up because of family trouble but since then he's been talking **** so I'm just waiting for him to arrange the smoking.

As unbelivable as it may sound, I've come across several "sleeper POS old Sentra SE-R's."

It's actually documented in various So Cal forums (EVO, STi, Mr2 turbo, S2000, etc.)).

Here, in Southern California there's a ring of Sentra SE-r's (early 90's model) that are legitimately quick. You can read the details in some of the above mentioned forums but I personally witnessed a POS faded black early 90's Sentra SE-R blow the doors off of a G35 coupe (that had atleast an exhaust). The Sentra was definitely N/A and it sounded like absolute ****. (think of a lawnmower on the verge of exploding) I saw the whole thing. The Sentra dude was hanging out in a Staples parking lot in Costa Mesa and when he saw the G35 leaving, he immediately pounced on him. He was clearly just sitting in the parking lot waiting to ambush an unsuspecting driver. To add insult to injury, the Sentra had a crooked rear bumper and fading purple window tint.

This exact same Sentra has been mentioned in many of the forums listed above. In each case, it was the same dude (Latino in his early 20's) just hanging out in a parking lot looking for fast cars to ambush.

To this day, I don't know what he did to his car to make it so fast but I'm 95% sure he wasn't running a turbo because the exhaust was way too raspy.

The EVO guys hate him because apparently, he somehow always wins.

I still don't get it.
