JDM Z here ... arrived January 2003 - now have about 19,500 miles.

No tranny problems, thank god.

Just the typical and normal "lump" when shifting from 1st to 2nd.

04.5 Z with 14k miles. No problems at all so far.

Warranty is your friend if you get a used one.

2003 year model. 30K miles, no problem with 6MT.

'03 6MT Touring, original owner, build date of Nov 2002. I have 30k miles and have never had any tranny problems whatsoever.

Actually, I think it is a very small % that do have problems.

Actually, I don't think it is a large %; it just guys with problems are more vocal.

Just got my 03 Track with 21K on the odometer. I had a hard time getting it into 5th. Took it to the dealership and they fixed it under warranty. Just an adjustment to the guide plate. Shifts like butter now...
