Default a Z or......

I have been crunching numbers and i am contemplating selling the Z however its not for what alot of guys on here do. I am 22 years old but I have owned at least one sports car since i was 17. No mommy and daddy didnt buy them you guys did with your tax dollars hehe anyway I am an avid snowboarder/wakeboarder and after goign to the recent boat show i realized i can get a brand new 2006 malibu wakesetter vlx boat for around 300 a month http://www.malibuboats.com/wvlxgallery.aspx it will actualy have a custom fiber glass molded tower with the speakers molded in. I would then buy a used truck to obviously be able to tow the thing. I would also have to have a replacement sports car or i would go nuts not having somethign to work on and i was thinking of getting a beat to hell MK4TT supra. I have already owned and built a MK3 up to right around 400hp or a little over (if i wanted to run risk of running REAL lean). I just dont know i mean i LOVE my z and the attention it gets but i have been comparing and i could EASILY dump what 20-25 grand to get a real string RELIABLE 400-450 hp from this car. I take 20-25 grand a MK4 and i know it would beat the hell out of those numbers...someone tell me i am crazy for wanting to do this?

nice boat...but im a avid snowboarder/wakeboarder. i got myself a NAUTICA boat =) but I am not the only owner on the boat. Boat is share with all our friends, but if you love the sport I would get a truck. I was lucky to have a Truck past down.. so i get the best of both worlds, I take the truck snowboarding and able to tow the boat if needed, and honestly toys are just toys. U can always get more toys when your rich thats how i see things. But you should live life day by day...Z..is just another toy...if i have to sell the Z to get a boat...i just might hahah cuz boats are FUN! oh yeah im 23/24 in may. that picture was SumMer 05! and yes! were ASIAN!! BiATCH hhahaha

I purchased a 23' Scarab 6 months ago with a buddy of mine and paid cash for it. Since then we have spent another $6K in storage, registration, trailer registration, accessories, insurance etc. Do you have a place to store the boat rent free? There are parts of me that regret buying the boat, but I know when summer hits that boat is going to be a aphrodisiac!

We got the boat used at an unbeleiveable deal. The insurance is about $400 every 6 months, so it's not too bad. Have you looked at the Yamaha's? They are jet boats but have some very cool features. Here's the link hope it works.

If your even considering getting a supra tt then get it. Honestly, i've owned it and its much much better with power than the z is. The only thing the Z has over the supra is handling and that is why I made the change. Good luck.

Yeah its great if you have buddies that is willin to share! I have 6 Owners on our Nautica...lol we all dish out about 7-8 G per person..we have 4 TV, 3-12" JL Audios, and A TURBO! hahaha j\k hahah its just a V8...with MAD MAD HP tho...The best thing is that we learn how to share the boat instead of being azz to each other.. even tho everybody tends to take the boat out on the hoildays...good thing we dont like to take the family out too much ahahha so thats a good thing because our family doesnt ask for the boat...but we do have a schedule that we can request for a period of no more then 3 day weekend...for each person.unless its agree upon by everybody...remeber to SET RULES and go by it, or esle its just going to get sloppy and ***** friendship up..I dont kno about you..but all my buddy works and its really hard to have everybody at the same time to go together..so it all works out at the end...but no matter what owners get first dib's on tickets if they are able to make it and 1 guest..our boat is a 12 person boat...
