Question Stupid question about trunk/luggage compartment

I bought my Z used. Its a 2003 Enthusiast. My trunk area has 2 carpets, and a cardboard cover for the tire. Should I have 2 carpets or just 1? One of the carpets is basic, and light, the other is heavy plush with the Z logo in the center. Was this heavy carpet an add-on that the previous owner bought?

The Z logo is the carpeted trunk mat, thats optional at $70!

I actually went to Nissan's website, its an accessory. Apparently the guy who owned this car before me got the trunk mat, and the floor mats.

Wow... You mean your Z came with a trunk! I am still trying to find the trunk in my Roadster I have a lid on the back end, but it won't even take a real set of golf clubs. You are one lucky dude!

Yeah what exactly can you use that little "trunk" for? It's more like a second glove compartment
