I got an 03 Z and my lease is comming to an end. I've been looking for a car to buy in the same price range and i havnt seen any cars that have the same value for the money and capabilities. My question is whats the build quality for the 05-06 Z? Do you guys experience any rattling, buzzing or loud road noise and any other mechanical problems? My passenger side door handle actually came out when a friend tried closing the door.

Lovin my 06.

 

The 06 was my first venture into the 350Z realm and I would have to say the build quality is great.

 

I got the 06 I love it except for the fact that I got an AT but other than that its a beautiful car...

 

I have had my '06 for about 4 months now. Exellent build quality, no interior rattles or anything like that. Just the really annoying clutch noise.

 

I've got an '06 enth. and would say the build quality is excellent. The only issue I've had is the high-pitched whistle at about 130mph. and above which I believe is a resonance in the rear strut tower brace. I've heard this can be easily fixed with some foam inserted uder the the brace cover.

 

just tell your friend they are removable door handles; for security you know
so no one tries to steal them. lmao.

 

Ive got about 3500 on my 06, and no rattles or anything. Just a whine when slowing down that I hear at about 2000 rpm, and the same whine at about 80mph, nothing big though, Im the only one that notices it. Oh ya and the clutch makes noise just like every other Z, but I hear it in other cars too so its normal. But Im really happy with it.

 

I have a 2006 350z nothing but praises for the car.

 

2005 gone 15,000 miles strong. Only a clicky rear axle to complain about which should be getting fixed soon.

Got an 05 with some clutch noise at about 7000 miles and no complaints.

 

The money you lose in the trade-in process is not worth the difference.

 

I love my 06, I 've owned it for 2months now and fall in love every time I go for a drive.

 

2005 with 3,000 miles. I have the rattles, noises, and issues that 03 and 04 owners mention. The seat shifts during cornering, the trunk gap is uneven, streaked windows, clunky trans, uneven fuel door, ect.

1st owner bought with 20 miles.

 

I am completely satisfied with my 06. great quality inside and out.
