Everything Install

Everything Install
Well I have everthing install. The mods I did I consider all the "Best Bang for the Buck N/A Mods". The mods consist of; JWT Pop Charger w/ Heat Shield, UR Ultra Underdrive Crank Pulley w/ Gates belts, Motordyne 5/16" Plenum Spacer and Iso-Thermal Gasket Kit, and APS Cat-Delete Race Pipes. Total for these mods are around $800. Everything you can install yourself or with a friend. I suggest for the Test Pipes you have access to a lift. The lift just make it a bit easier to work under the car.
I have to say I love everything. All these parts helped the car. The power gains are defently there and the exhaust note is much better (IMO). The car runs smoother powerband now also. The Race Pipes do give the note a bit of a rasp but nothing I couldn't live with. I personally think these four mods should almost be considered a Stage I Kit for those that plan on staying N/A.
Overall: I'm very happy with my chooices and very happy I did the research before buying. I'll be back on the Dyno on the 25th to see the gains. Hoping for around 240ish whp and 235ish wtq.
Next on my list are: StopTech Stage II Brake Kit & Nismo Cat-Back Exhaust. Ingalls Engineering (http://www.ingallseng.com/) & I are working on some suspention components.

Good choice on mods. I have a similar setup and I'll tell you another cost effective mod to get rid of that rasp and make your car sound like a race version of the 350Z, . I have a 3/8ths In. Plenum spacer, the JWT popcharger, and test pipes. I didn't like the raspiness when I put the test pipes on with stock exhaust, but I didn't want to spend a ton on exhaust and I didn't want to lose a whole lot of torque. I bought a Vibrant resonator/muffler through a speed shop nearby (you can find them on e-bay also). I paid $80 for that. I then bought two 2.5" inlet/3" outlet mufflers for about $70 on e-bay. Then I went to a local shop that specializes in custom exhausts and for about $200 had them fabricate me the pieces in between the inline Vibrant muffler and the two back mufflers. By leaving in the silencers it isn't so loud that it's annoying (but still loud when you get on it, ) and it gives me enough back pressure to keep my torque up. I noticed a little bit of a drop in torque down low but now rather than being a monster low and then losing torque and slowing down in higher RPM's, it's much more linear and pulls strong the whole way through the RPM range. The best thing is that you can feel a huge difference. Think of it like your car was trying to blow through a straw and then with the exhaust it is blowing through a fire hose, haha. I recommend it 100%.

Ok, I just read the bottom part of your sig and if you have the money for the nismo it's pretty, . I am really happy with my setup though and it cost a lot less, which gives me more money to spend on other mods. Like the sway bars I just bought, .

Nice setup. Im doing the UR crank pulley with Gates belts and the 5/16" MD iso thermal spacer next week. I already have the JWT pop charger and Greddy Evo2 catback. After that ill probably do test pipes or high flow cats.

This is advice I received from talking to others with similar mods in person...
