Default This has been . .

beaten to death a million times already but I have to brag. So I have a friend with an S2000, and this guy is really nice friend of mine. . . but he swears the S2000 is faster than the Z, so I proved it to him once before from a 30 mph roll who's boss, he said his tires were bad the last time. But last Saturday night, he wanted another highway battle, so I really tried to back down but then I couldnt, I just had to make him quiet. So being as confident in my car that I am, I told him his rules, any way. He decided, 2nd gear roll from 5500 rpm, on his 3rd honk. I WALKED ALL OVER HIM EVERY TIME, not even inched, I literally walked all over, and from 5th gear up it was as if I was pulling even harder. This went on for about 5-6x all the way up until 130-140 mph. I havent driven my car hard in a long time, I felt so bad for my baby, but in the end I realized the Z was meant to be driven a certain way, and I was so proud that I proved my point. BTW, NO FLAMES, this took place at 3 AM on a COMPLETELY OPEN FREEWAY. We were in a tunnel about 1/4 mile long, and flew through it about 120 mph me at about wide open 6000 RPM and him at 8000 RPM that sounded amazing, two NA cars with nice exhaust notes. Anyway, I think Im going to post this on S2KI.com, since they for the most part think our Z's are "pigs". So after proving my point not once but 6x, he goes on to "WELL THE S2GAY is faster in the 1/4 mile, lets go to Englishtown!!!" In my head Im like here we go again. . . guess Ill have to show him once and for all huh.

I would also like to see a time slip. It would be interesting to see who spots who? I figure that if you are running 13.80 seconds, then you will probably spot the Honda 0.20 seconds. Right?

awesome ride! And although street racing is 'bad' at least you limited the dangers. and yeah both cars sound awesome at high speeds and WOT.

our cars are heavy, but theirs aren't that light either. the s2k is basically a go-kart and it weights 2,800 lbs. i would expect it to be under 2,600. for something that small and limited torque, that is pretty heavy.

I guess the weight is partly responsible for the solid feel of the S2K, very similar to the Z's if not more for those of you that have had the chance to drive one. But yes for a car that much smaller it should be lighter especially, that it has no top.

Exactly. Can't really judge this race unless you list all his mods or if he had any.
