Default Megan Racing Parts

Have any of you guys tried any of the Megan parts? We've had good experiences with the S2000 parts. Wanted to know how good they're workin on 350Z

We have a group buy up and just wanted some feedback.

I prefer the parts on my car not to fall off or break by themselves after a few hundred miles

wow, what has this world come to? from my experiences, i believe companies have to start out somewhere. every company was small at one point or another. the amount of bashing that goes on when "Megan" is mentioned is stunning. yes, there are cases where their product has failed, but more times than not, it has been proven to be a competitor in the aftermarket industry. most people who say "megan is trash i'd never put anything with that brand on my car" are too quick to judge i think. companies need time to grow and develope. meh, i'm ranting...

I guess it is always a trade off between quality and pricing (most of the case..)

and for the case of megan, I rarely seeing anyone reporting that the parts actually failed ...

and Cmon, the parts that they are making are just simple casting and machining.. it is not like rocket science; so why bash so early?

I mean, a lot of the times when you buy something from one company, you could have got the EXACT same thing from the EXACT same plant that manufactured it. For example, the "New" Apex coilovers, appear to be the exact same as the Megan Coilovers, just relabled, painted red, and marked up 20%

I had the Megan Racing O2 housing and exhaust manifold on my Evolution and they were very well made. I even took them to a well known welder and fabricator in my area to have them checked out. He said they were very nice quality. That's coming from someone with 20+ years of experience. I'm about to order my Megan Y pipe and exhaust. I like the look of their product.

I also have the Megan RAcing Test Pipes.. I've only had them for about a month, but when I took them out of the box all the welds looked good to me.
If anything does go wrong with them I will let you guys know. They were
$140 shipped.

Megan looks to much like Mugen, To me if your going to start a new company and are seroius about making great products, then you don't name your company to look like another one that has been around forever with a good reputation... Whenever I see a company do this I always think "must be a fly by night company".... I'm not saying they are, but gives a bad impression IMO.

Is there a general site for them? Seems like some good stuff, but i'd love to hear more testimonials.
