I am very lucky to have a boyfriend who cares more about me than the cars I drive. He is the president of a classic car club, and he owns several of them himself. Although he loves those machines, he always puts the human factor first. Being attracted to someone or something is a lot different than showing honest affection and love, but I guess it all has to start somewhere...even if it appears to be slightly superficial.

ive noticed the same. When i went to sign the lease papers for my apartment the girl there was in love with my car, she was hot too btw lol. But ya, I get a lot more "interest" in this car than any of my others by the females

 

I get checked out constantly when I'm out. And I love every minute of it. When my friend is with me she notices it too. She'll tell me that I'm breaking peoples necks every few mintues. Its pretty funny. And its not like the only Z in town either. We have a few here in town. I guess the graphics and exhaust help.

 

Couldn't have said that better myself. Although the Z can break the ice sometimes so you have better leverage on the situation.

Coupe always wins... btw is it a tad faster.. doesnt the convert have a heavier back end?

The Z is an attention getter, especially if you have "aggressive wheels" and some sort of kit. I wouldn't mind having my windows tinted darker just so I don't have to feel people looking all the time.
I don't mean to sound concieted(sp), but people really love this car, especially women and car guys.

 

Yeh but when i rock up at valee star casino in sydney, and there are ferraris and aston martins infront of me, i feel tiny!!!

I made a promise to myself that I will purchase a new GT2 Porsche or Ferrari at the age of 24! I have 4 years left to do this, and so far so good

 

Man I totally agree, for example yesterday I have just cleaned my car and put on the 19 OEM back on nothing great(i have G coupe btw). I was in the underground apartment parking lot just about to leave, saw a few girls from far thought it was my cousin and her roomates(just about to say hi)so i was looking over noticing they were looking at me/car. and when i got close enough i notice that i dont know them at all. but yea the g/z get looks from time to time.

But if the girls asked what car i drive, i usually just say japanese car.

And i also have to agree that girls does not care whats on or in ur car, after i did my rims last night i was helped my friend with 645 putting on his new 20" SSR GT3 . And we went to dinner with a bunch of friends the girls are like whats different? the rims ? "i dont care" well i guess thats 4k down the drain.

 

my coworker asked me what car did i buy few days after i bought my car, i said 350Z, she doesn't know what 350Z is, so i said a nissan. then she said her colora is better than 350Z, because she has a toyota, i have a nissan. so girls pay more attention to a badge.

 

sometimes i wish i still had my old camry beater....

i really don't like showing off my Z to girls... to be honest, i'd rather show that i have a crappy car than a good car. i don't know why, but having a Z makes it seem like im trying too hard, when im really not.

i just love the car though. freaken hot!!!!

 

 

+1, thats how i am, "yeah, all i have is a nissan and a honda", and most people dont ask what i have, just say something like, nice, you got reliable cars.

i dunno, ever since i started driving my Z last month i get more stares from ladies especially when i get out of it. Then again im naturally confident and good looking, so it all works lol. Best example this hot girl at AutoZone always goes out of her way just to talk to me every time i walk in there. (only place that sells Grape Fanta in a bottle) And it started when i rolled up in my Z with a new suit on. LOL funny thing is whats gonna happen when she finds out im broke? LOL hahahahahhaaha oh well
