Default Z Dreams a fading

I was hoping to order/buy a redline 5at enth. Z this month, but looks like that won't happen. I have talked to about 15 dealerships and have gotten some decent sounding deals, but still not in my price range, and I haven't sold my car yet. And if the price does go up this summer I definetly can't get one. Guess I will have to try and find a good used one instead.

Keep the faith, girl! As chicks, we NEED to have this car! And we have to be faster than all the boys! Just keep that in mind while you're saving up!

But I wouldn't worry too much about that price increase. If NNA doesn't say anything about it, it's not true. And keep looking, I'm sure your Z is out there waiting for you to find it!

GirlieGT,

Do not give up on getting a Z yet. Prices are not going to go up for a while. The car is an absolute blast to drive. My wife usually drives it to work and loves it. It is not just a car. She gets the feeling that it just wants to get out and run.

Also, the concern about potential price increase may be not as big an issue. I remember the price increases on the Z32 when I was looking to buy one back in the 90's. The increases from quarter to quarter back then were very slight - not a deal breaker. I suspect all manufacturers have to live with the same economic conditions that their customers live with and I'd be very surprised to see any large increase.

Well hopefully I will get to talk to a dealer face-to-face this sat. instead of through email and phone calls and try to get a good deal. Guess I ain't intimidating enough to get them down in price!

1 change to stick 2 go base. I know you won't have lsd or TCS but unless you are planning on taking the car to the track or drive in harsh conditions you will be ok.

Base is 26,800 2 k less then enthusiast. Just a sugguestion. I ordered base but will be buy enthusiast. However I think base is a great bang for a buck.

WEll I can't drive a stick yet I would just really prefer an enthusiast model though. I just wish dealers weren't so arrogant. I realize this is an in demand car and it is possible only so many will be made, but they need to learn to treat people with respect.

I guess I should have asked if the 2.5k would make a difference in the car price for you in the first place.

Just so you know BASE and ENTH look identical. Unless you want slightly better performance get ENTH.

You can always start a fund. Look how well this chick is doin.

If anything, the price will go down as supply catches up with demand. I'm kinda in the same situation. I still owe on my Celica, and the Z is alittle out of reach at this point in time, but within a year I should be able to get one.
