okay, so I got a new 350 Z and am wondering what a good path for it is for upgrades. I want to do performance upgrades that will go up to at least 400 at the wheel. What's the best route and the best on the market for the Z right now? My best bang for the buck to start off with and the more expensive stuff later (i.e. APS turbo setup).

You'll never get 400whp without a well-tuned supercharger or turbo setup. Checkout the Engine forum and read, read, read... Vortech, Procharger, Greddy, APS, your choice.

 

yeah for the 300+hp youll need F/i fo sho

and w/ a moderate goal of 400hp i would shoot for a Single Turbo(APS or TN)

dont waste money on NA mods that cant convert, so do exhuast, plenum, plenum spacer, High Flow cats/Test pipes, pop charger.....best route to go since everything will be usable with the turbo other then the popcharger

also get wheels and tires squared away...be sure to get a Rear wheel that can go atleast 10 in the back(19x8.5/9 front 19x10/10.5 rear)
