I dunno Bee, I have to agree with Gralark on this one. The 06 wheels are beautiful and look awesome with the black. I think I need a little more performance, the car looks smooth and sexy already with the stock 18's. And yes Mike, I left you a PM already, KIT buddy.

Robert_K... Great gains, but let me point out another way to look at this. You can't pass visual inspection. You are at risk of a $1000 ticket (or so I learned on this board). And although 17 hp is a great gain, it just is not enough to tangle with a 2006 corvette. That's going to take another 100 hp or so. And that means going FI. I am not arguing with your numbers. I am just saying that after spending money on NA mods, there just was not any awesome change. Go drive a Z with 400 hp at the crank and let me see the grin on your face!

Hello Robert K, yea i noticed your gaines with the NA mods, but I think test pipes are way illegal and in Cali i think the cops will follow you if they smell the fumes coming out. I might need the support of other members on that statement. and CHARGED, did you notice a loss of torque with a catback? which one do you have.

First Thanks! I understand that TP are illegal. I'm currently station in CO though and have the Z registered in Texas, so I'm exempt from any emissions testing. Also When I do move back to Texas I know of several shops that will pass my car. If those that would like to go my route and not remove the Cats I would suggest a Y-Pipe. Y-Pipe are the next restrictive section and are around the same price, $200.
As far as racing a Vette I don't have that desire, right now. I was looking for good gains for a limited amount of money. As far as needing an extra 100hp you could try nitrious, though I don't like it. Also if you read my thread "Gained 17whp & 10wtq" you will see I do have plans on going S/C but I'm still not looking for 400+whp. I feel that a safe 350whp is a perfect set-up for myself. I have nothing against cars that have large numbers but I feel the forum pushes F/I too much. There is nothing wrong with staying N/A and spending money on N/A mods. You just need to do the research and see where you need to spend the money. IE: $110 for a JWT PopCharger w/ Heat sheild gives the same gains and easier installation/cleaning vs a Nismo CAI for $300+.

TP are illegal and you need to make the judgement if you want to go that route. My suggestion would be a Y-Pipe for around the same price, $200, or high flow cats for extra money but less worry. Also I'm not running a cat-back. I really have found one that I think is worth the money for the small gains. I think I will replace the Y-Pipe next along with a UTEC for tuning.

Does this help you guys out?

Do it. Do it. . Stage 2 Stillen with cat backs might give about 400 at the _crank_. Thats plenty for me. I will let the mathematicians calculate the whp conversion. At Stage 2, the TCS light is going off with every shift and the back end is feeling really loose, so I am not sure I want any more hp.

No thanks on the Stillen kit. I don't want the hump on my hood. Though its a good kit. I'm leaning more towards the HKS Rotex Kit. I like the number outputs of it. I know it might be out of production but I'm sure I will be able to find one. I'm hoping to purchase it after I get back from Iraq.

The first thing you should do is get the K&N Typhoon CAI, change the Y-pipe to Fujitsubo or JIC bullet, make sure to install test pipes to gain the most performance out of ur ride, and seriously, get the plenum spacer, go to www.mynismo.com, ull be able to see a pic of it there. you could also change the cranck pulley, get the unorthodox racing Underdrive crank pulley
