Red face Hi From VirZinia (Need Help)

Hey everyone!! This is Shayan from Virginia. I'll be hopefully getting my 350Z within a month or two and I have **** load of questions to ask. At first I was aiming for an M3 but I'm 10K short and don't want to miss another Virginia great summer looking at my buddie's cars and checking the pennies that get added to my saving account. Also out of all the cars in the market, the Z came closest to my taste and like and they are nicely rare in VA. So You don't see one, every two second unlike G45,STI etc...I currently have an 04 Honda Accord LX, 06 Nissan Altima, 00 Toyota Camry. The Accord and Camry together will be paying for the Z and the left over will hopefully be paying for the Altima's loan.

In Virginia the market is horrible for Manual cars and the Z that i will be getting will be in Automatic. Now I know A/T = 287 and being Persian you can't just take numbers like that. I like round and nice numbers so my aim is to bring it up to 305HP at least. I did some search on the forum and I saw suggestions as to intakes, to pop charger(What is this?) and to anything and everything. But since my goal is not that hard to reach I was thinking of the following.

1. Factory Cat Back Exhaust (Reason: Added HP + Sick Sound) Result: 6HP
2. Intake (Need Brand Help) (Reason: Added HP + Sick Sound) Result: 3HP??

So with that. We have 6+3= 9HP 287+9 = 296 305-296= 9HP(NEEDED)

So please help out with your suggestios as how I can get the remaining 9HP. Also please provide sources and pictures if you know so It would be easy to get. As I said, I was in the whole world of BMWs and basically know nothing of the Z. Matter of the fact, havn't even test drove it yet and tomorrow I have an appointment with my Altima sales person. So I hope it gets my attention when I push it around corners and straight away.

Huh? How is 305 a "round number"?

Sterling, Va - 3Min from Loudoun Nova(NVCC) Campus. Oh yeah by the way, isn't there a huge 350z Club fro VA/DC/MD residence. I gave up trying to find it on Google. I found one called Capital 350z or something, but the forum is dead.

Edit: I don't know if you still live in Cvile but you might know my cousin. He lives in Cvile too and he is the founder of www.cvillesfinest.com

At first I wanted 300 which is a round number, then when you take weather and everything into effect you always lose a few horses here and there. So I said 305HP so in case I lose anything, It would at least be 300HP Solid.

I'm at Chantilly, VA and I think there is to many Z's around Fairfax County. I see more Z's than STi and Q45s. I have a six speed and it's worth it even with the crazy traffic. My co-worker has a convertible auto and he hardly ever drives it.

With all of the Z's in VA, we should get together and have a meet. I'm going to an anual meet somewhere off of I-95 near Woodbridge or Mannassas April 1with some of my co-workers.
Let me know if anyone is down.

From all the independent tests done by magazines and members, those plenums tend to be one of the best bang for the buck mods for HP out there. There are a few other brands that make aftermarket plenums. Maybe not 20hp but a solid 7-10hp gain maybe. BEN
