Does anyone else have this problem? When you open the door the windows slide down a bit to prevent the window from hitting the trim. My passanger side window ONLY when its cold out will not slide down that little bit and whenever i close the door it hits the trim. I have to roll down the window and roll it up whenever anyone uses th door. I took it to the dealership and of course it wasn't doing it anymore, the guy looked at me told me to go home and call if it keeps doing it....obviously if it does it often it wont just stop....I hate dealerships

oh yeah and by the time i realized what the awful loud sound was when i closed the passanger door, some paint had been scraped off because of the window
Considering where you live, your window is probably frozen shut. I know it sounds silly...you don't have water b/w the window and the seal, but it happens.
I don't really drive the Z in extreme cold, but my truck windows don't like to go down when it's really cold. After driving for a while they warm up from the heat of the cabin and roll right down. That's probably why you couldn't duplicate the problem at the dealer. And before anyone says, "yeah, crappy truck windows...what did you expect?" it's an '04 with electric windows.
