Default So the tranny only gives you problems when you drive it hard...?

For 2003 6mt models ofcourse. Im asking because Im about to close a deal on a 2003 enthusiast for 19gs 6mt with 25k miles. The owner is elderly so Im assuming it wasn't driven hard. During the test drive, everything seemed OK.

Since I do not drive my cars hard, should I anticipate the tranny going out or is it possible to escape that?

Just being cautious because 19gs is alot of money to me and I want to be in a safe position. Thanks.

He probably rode the clutch cause he couldn't feel his legs when he wears those diabetic socks.
