Actually, they did complete the crash testing on the r34 and when they first started importing and legalizing them, they were full cars built properly to spec'd to US safety regulations. They decided to save some money and hassle of customs by cutting them in half and rewelding once they got to the US.

Is it a Suburu? What the ???? I love that statement. It just about sums it up.
However, I'd love to have the 4WD units and an extra 150 horses to back it up in our Z's. I'd pay 45K for that !!!!

Kinda scary knowing your car might not have these things. Yeah, XS engineering is a awesome shop.

I don't know if I'm alone on this one, but I don't care as long as they are unmolested. Front bumper support? Most people remove them for FMICs.

The re-welded cars are more troublesome, who knows if they did a good job lining everything up or not.

Default stupid government

People can drive around in 500 dollar CRXs and yet the retarded government somehow thinks a 50,000 NISSAN GTR is somehow unsafe or unroadworthy? The feds are actually willing to spend money on going after a few car enthusiasts driving what amounts to a perfectly safe vehicle manufactured by one of the largest car manufacturers on the planet. This country has some serious prioritization problems, what about dealing with the 100s of thousands of gang members and felons, or the millions living in poverty or 50 million living without health insurance. Seriously this country has issues.

I hope Hiro sold enough JDM Insider videos to help pay for his attorney fees.

Umm sell Z after spin out!? I spinned out with traffic all around me. I managed to keep the spin in the same lane which was lucky for me. No way I would sell my Z for that though. Although it did make me more careful afterwards though. I hope that Zraygo really didnt do that. Anyway, can't we all get along.

You and your 101 post can suck my big black dick! You dont know the first thing about the story.....so before you open you azzhole and speak you need to know the facts. Did XS give me the hp that I needed.....no they did not....and if you ask the rest of the vets on this board...they will tell you the samething. You know nothing. And as for budget....there was over 40g's into the car itself...and most of that was lame azz tuning and install of the FCON by who else.....XS. Hands down, XS sucks. Ask Look at thier track record not with customers who are satisfied, but at those who arent. And of cuourse you dont hear about those because thats bad for business. Now Im not saying that i amd the smartest guy in the world (because I am far from it), but I know what getting ****ed over feels like when you have a car that you want certain things done to and then they tell you that ....ya it can be done, just put up the money....and you do....and then you come back a week later....and guess what....you need to put up more money.....trust me,
they suck....

Well... I always thought he was a criminal for what he charged for used Skylines -- this proves it.

We can still get GT-R32's in Canada -- can't import a car newer than 15yrs old from the build date... if it was never originally produced for North American markets. Right now you can pick up a GT-R32 for about CDN$22-27K depending on what aftermarket parts are on it.

C'mon guys let's stop the arguing. I know you have points to make, but this is a 350z board not a honda board.

^Sometimes its pretty damn close.

And it doesn't have to be a Honda board to be a board full of flamers. I've been on Honda, Acura, VW, and Mazda sites and they all have their fair share of idiots, including this site.
