I manage a garage for AT&T right down the street from there and that place is on lock down fa sho.....dem fools is done. Now I bet XS Eng will probably try and get into the business. WHich is cool, because I would love to see them get thier azzes shut down also...

 

They have banned the importing of R34 skylines because of this. They havent done anything to R33's yet, so at least thats a good thing. The owner supposidly brought skylines and didnt install the necessary changes for dot approval and epa regulations; ie side door beams, air bags and bumper reinforcements. Kinda scary knowing your car might not have these things. Yeah, XS engineering is a awesome shop.

 

There is quite a difference between charged and convicted. We will see how this unfolds.

 

I wonder why they even need to fraud with all that money.

The fraud entail's Motorex's importation of skylines in pieces rather than a whole car and rewelding them together before sale...

 

Wow I bet there are some people crawling under their imported Skylines tonite looking for welds.

skylines look fine...IMO they look like the 03 maxima w/ a much better rear end, iand i think the 03 maximas look pretty hawt. oh, and you can have like 400whp w/ minimal mods...not to mention stock block can take 900whp...OH and its awd....OH and it weighs the same as our car....OH and its SUPER FAST JDM LEET PIMPED 2F2F

 

Ok, I don't know anything about the skyline or its engine. Props to the engine and its foreign legalities. BUt the car looks like shyt.

 

Ummm R34 GT Skyline does not look like sh&t at all...that has to one of the sexiest cars out there but I prefer the Z body styling over skyline for sure.

I thought part of the issue was that they were supposed to crash test "X" many R34, R33, etc chassis's before they were allowed to import the cars, but they never crash tested any of the higher/late model skylines and thus were in violation of the DOT import regulations.
