Seriously though, I would think long and hard before you just up and get your car repainted. It is so hard getting and entire full paint job right the first time. Even great body shops have imperfections in their work at times that may really end up bugging the sh-t out of you.
This is not to say that they can't do a great job, but you always run a risk when you have your car repainted!
You want to paint a white 350Z black? Just a couple of suggestions:
Painting the car is expensive and will drop the resale value.
You can probably save money by selling your car and buying another color.

I will never buy another black car again. It looks great when it's clean and it's night time. Other than that if you just drive it the paint will get fuked up. I see every scratch, chip, and swirl mark during the day. I wish I would have bought white. Unless you don't ever plan on driving your car don't get black.
that's funny... i have a super black '04 touring (that i wouldn't trade for the world) but kinda wish i had bought a PPW... like done12many2 said, "we always want what we can't have"

Another
on David's comment.
You don't seem to realize how involved a process color changing is. EVERYTHING will have to be ripped out. Expect to pay $6k-$8k for a top quality job, if not more. Even AFTER all that cost, your resale value will take a hit.
If it were a one-of-a-kind car, I could understand that. But Zs are a dime a dozen. Why not just get an SB Z of the same year/trim? Or add the repainting cost to the proceeds from your PPW's sale and get a newer or higher trim Z. Problem solved.

I was trying to remove some bird $hit from my hood and accidentally put a large swirl mark in its place. I took it to some car wash place a week ago and the guy who owns it says it can be removed with a buffer and a special kind of wax. Do any of you know if this is true or will I have to get the entire hood repainted?thanks
