I never saw a big difference with 5w - 30. I would only think maybe 1mpg better.

My oil pressure got much higher when they put in the 10W-30 and I noticed a significant decrease in number of miles per full tank. I think 10W-30 is only needed for pretty hot weather... ?

I checked my air filter and it's fine. My tire pressure is the same. My lead foot is the same. My driving patterns are the same... I can't think of what could've caused the decrease in MPG other than the oil which is different? I could be wrong though.

I made my appointment for my 100 point check. I asked what steps they took since I also asked about TSBs. The service department told me it is mostly visual inspections. He said they don't even test drive it so unless you have specific problems that you can relate to a TSB don't expect them to look for it. I made the appointment anyway just to see if they find anything.

Hey silver350z03, can you qualify whom you are raising your flag too?
