OBD 2 port location?

Default OBD 2 port location?

does anyone know where the OBD 2 port is located at? I need to reset the Airbag light on my dash...it keeps blinking.I just swapped seats with no seat airbags...I have the scan tools i just need to kno where the OBD port is located at...so i can just plug in my scan tool and take the flashin light out...thanks!

Under the dash to the left side down near the hood release.

A scan tool might only allow you to clear a CEL, not other warning lights like the Airbags. It can't hurt to try though.

I'm sorry I can't help you, I would also like to know this as well.

I was also wondering where you get your scan tools? My friend said he has a OBD2 software with the correct plug, but I want my own so I can do this on my own.

my in-law owns for a performance shop..he has tools like this...i can just give it to him to take it off..but i a DO IT YOURSELF kind of a guy..i like to get hands on with my own car...

2. i dont like people touchin my car
3. Im not a stuck up brat...I take things in my own matter

really!? thanks! i was thinkin there will be the option on the tool sayin that AIRbAG light ON and it will say clear "yes or no" type..but i will try...thanks for the info on the location

if you have a pda, there is software so that it can be used as a scan tool

You can also go to Autozone and they will hook it up, read codes, reset CELs, etc.

Nope just got back from my in-law shop i couldnt get the code off...because for some reason it doesnt have that function...he has a SNAP ON so what should i do next?!!?!? please advise! my last choice im goin to the dealer and have them clear the blinker

If I understand correctly, you tool out your seats with airbags and replaced them with seats without airbags, right? If this is the case, I don't think simply resetting the light will work, since there are still no airbags plugged in. I think you'll need those plug things to go in the end of the harnesses like they sell for aftermarket steering wheels so the light will not come on.

really eh...yeah someone told me about that..i need like cap or somewhat to cap it...very interestin..i'll ask them about it when i go back to the dealer on monday or tuesday when i get my tranny install..Do you think they wil charge me??
