Thoughts on Clear Bra location(s)
Washing my car this AM I cleaned off a gazillion bugs from last weekends "scoot' . Started thinking about where I'd put a clearbra after 3 years & 30,000 miles of driving. I opted to repaint (at some point) rather than clearbra but this is for those who are thinking about coverings.
The only place I see where a clearbra would help is the front bumper; lots of little pits in mine. On the other hand the hood has only a couple minor ones and the mirrors are still perfect.
And if your going to do the bumper you might as well have the highlights done. No damage to mine at all but a clearbra might save the housing if hit by a large rock.
So, front bumper & headlights.

Yeah I suppose. My thoughts are if your car is already there and being worked on, you might as well get everything else done. I don't think it'll be that much cheaper if you omit clearbra'ing the other parts. My mirrors are fine too, but the very top of my roof where it meets the windshield has a pretty big chip on it.
Precut kits do not wrap under and most kits do not wrap around the wheel wells. As highside107 already posted, most pitting and chipping occurs on the bumper. Some may have issues with the front of the hood while others may not. One thing for sure is that most chipping occurs on the freeway.

We go through Starshield and Aerotect here. I can get you a pre-cut kit, and you can have an installer up in your area put it in. These companies use 3M product, so it's as good of quality as you'll find. Good pricing as well.
We should also be able to source you some sheets of the material as well, incase you wanted to do the inner parts of the side skirts, and the front bumper, where they wrap around inside the fender area. I had those small flat sections done on my car as well when I got the last paint job done.
Clear bra is worth every penny
