On my way to my exam today a civic and an eclipse hung around me all the time. First the civic came with his fart can and cut me off... then pulled into the other lane slowed down to my speed and stared me down. All i did was smile lol.

He got off like 4 exits later... then a neon green (Fast and Furious anyone?) eclipse was weaving in and out of traffic. Same deal almost, as he passed me he looked at me and saw that im in my 20's and i guess assumed i would want to race him. So as he is passing he brakes and slows down to my speed and just hangs out.....


If that wasnt bad, after my exam a silver Civic with a huge, and i mean HUGE wing drives by me. To help ur imagination the wing was higher than the roof. Windows tinted to the max (silver color) Turns out it was a hispanic girl, idk if she wanted to race but she drove by me for a little.

Last but not least a yellow GTI was tailgaiting me for a while. I mean damn the speed limit was i think 55, and i admit i was speeding (going 75) and he is on my **** in the middle lane. So he goes into the right lane, drives by me and gives me a thumbs down? WTF a thumbs down? I laughed so hard.


My car is pure stock, stock rims, stock everything. And idk if my cologne attracted these people or what but it didnt make me happy at all.

 

stock cars dont get respect i guess
also ... stay away from youthful/densely populated/diverse areas...
if u r around an area with only 40 year old prominent lawyers, doctors and financial directors with SL500 and Maserati Quattroportes the result will be different than if ur in an diversely populated area with all kinds of people...

 

im guessin i got the thumbs down cuase i didnt want to race the kid who had those damn hats to the side with the rim thats flat.... i hate wiggers


The only think thats different on my car is my license plate location which is to the side of the bumper... so maybe that ticked them? Who knows

I didnt feel like gettin a ticket for racing and speeding and etc.... insurance is a biotch.

Quick question:
If the purpose of a wing is to create down force on the car, shouldn't there be some relational aspect between the wing's size and the size of the car?
In other words, a wing on a race car makes sense because of it's structural design. But a wing on a '91 Honda Accord??
What does that do besides obstruct your rear-view and add unnecessary weight to the car?

 

Basically, they are adding downforce to a vehicle that is already held back by the weight of its own body. Either way, even with those huge wings, the cars don't go fast enough to produce any appreciable drag.

I guess when your running on 185/80R14's, you need anything you can get to keep planted on Terra Firma.

yeah not worth it. i remember the other day i had a Audi TT trying to pull on
me. after going through the toll i let it rip and i mean rip. flew past everyone
on the highway then saw those blue lights.

lucky though the cop was cool. he pulled me and was laughing. he asked if
i had any reason for going that fast and just let me go. the whole thing was
funny (we both laughed) but it could have ended up a very different way.
