i pretty much plan on leaving my car as close to stock as possible, but i did add a Jim Wolf Technologies 'Popcharger'. AWESOME intake system. VERY easy DIY, incredible sound. Another good one is a plenum. Companies like Skunk2, AAM and Motordyne make them for our cars. i personally Love the way my exhaust sounds stock so i dont plan on changing it anytime soon. But check out those two mods for some beginner mods. Popcharger and Plenum spacer

i totally agree with you on the exhaust i was kinda shocked when i first heard it. the deep tone makes me happy in the pants . one thing i wondering about is the chips though. i havent really heard too much about them and the few i found were like $800 . whats the deal?!

Check out the APS High Volume Intake, you can get it polished. I have it on my 350z with NISMO exhaust and they sound great!

AAM intake, AAm Angled Plenum Spacer, Tanabe exhaust from E-Bay $347 shipped to your door, AAM Y-pipe (it's best to spend a little more money here because if you get a cheap Y-Pipe it can mess with your whole exhaust set-up and a piggy back or AAM reflash to top it off till you go F/I.
